A Quick Update!

I thought I'd stop by to update on our progress on the run up to the degree show. The studios are flourishing with creativity as everyone has got stuck in with their Major Projects. It has been really nice to see everyone's new inspiration up in their bays and the studios are full of interesting research and things to draw from. Most people are drawing in the studios at the moment and there is such an eclectic and varied mix of themes and ideas this year which will make for a fantastic show in June!
The BA (Hons) Textiles and Surface Design Degree Show for Cleveland College of Art and Design will be open to the public from the 4th- 13th June in Hartlepool Art Gallery, Church Square (across from the Cleveland College of Art and Design Main Entrance)

To New Beginnings!

So this is our new blog. Instead of following on with last year's degree show blog we have created a new one that is completely our own. Over the course of our final major project this blog will be updated by students Laura Footman, Katy Dawson, Kelly Thackray and Katy Howieson (Me).

As a first post I thought i'd share some photographs of the studios with our Minor Projects looking glorious all hung up and presented in our bays. I love how the projects are scattered about showing the differences in our work from card and gift, interior and fashion. Now its time to take it all down and decorate it with inspiration for our new projects. Scary stuff!
